You will learn about the animal care industry and careers available in its many sectors. We will provide you with access to practical experience with animals throughout the course.
During the course you will be required to complete work placement somewhere that houses and cares for any type of companion animals.

Demand for animal care workers is growing this growth is driven by consumer expectations on how their companions should be cared for. These greater expectations are leading to employers that require workers who are qualified and experienced.
Course Delivery: Blended Delivery with online written assessments and learning material, online tutorials and face to face practical sessions
Work Placement: there is a requirement for placement during this course which we offer in one of Hanrob’s Pet Hotels Nationally, which takes the stress out of finding your own placement.
Course Duration: 6 Months
When you’re ready to enrol, click on the ‘Take this Course’ or ‘Enquire Now’ button and fill in your details, one of our dedicated education staff will contact you to discuss your course enrolment. Once the right course and study method have been selected you will be provided with a link for online enrolment into the next available intake in your state.
You will also be asked to complete and return a LLN (Language, Literacy and numeracy) test which is a course requirement to be made by an approved course provider or a Commonwealth, State or Territory government agency, Photo ID will also be required to complete the enrolment process. All Australian students require a valid USI which can be obtained from www.usi.gov.au if you do not already have one.
Once you have completed the online enrolment process, you will be provided with an invoice for payment at which time you can choose to pay upfront of via our payment plan provider EdStart offering interest free payment plans so you only pay for your course no hidden extras.
